Working under the supervision of their mentors the teams will assemble, test and code the vehicles to follow a predetermined line. Points are are awarded for the distance traveled along the path.
This challenge is one of the most complex and rewarding of the STEAM Maker programs. Over the last 10 STEAM Maker festivals 250+ teams have completed this challenge. Designed to be challenging it is also well within the capabilities of most 4th grade and above students when supervised by a mentor. A Strong community and group of mentors has been established to support new mentors in this program.
